Introduction

The following Z-Packs provide the SimoTime Technologies and Documentation that are used to migrate business applications and data between systems of various architectures. The Z-Packs are usually in zip format to reduce the amount of time to download. The technologies are designed to execute on a Windows System with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer or Micro Focus Enterprise Studio. Many of the technologies are designed to generate COBOL source code for programs that may be compiled and executed on a Mainframe System (ZOS or VSE) or a Linux, UNIX or Windows Systems running Micro Focus technologies.

Permission to use, copy, modify and distribute this software, documentation or training material for any purpose requires a fee to be paid to SimoTime Enterprises. For more information refer to the Software Agreement and Disclaimer section at the end of this document.

ASMOGENR and Enterprise Developer

This package includes the technology that generate non-executable members from data structures defined in Mainframe Assembler Source Code. This utility will execute in a Windows environment with Micro Focus. The non-executable can be generated in EBCDIC or ASCII and may be used with the EXEC CICS LOAD function in a Linux, UNIX or Windows environment that is supported by Micro Focus. This package requires a Windows System with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer v2.1 or later.

The purpose of this document is to provide a link for downloading the SimoTime Technologies. The preceding Z-Packs provide the SimoTime Technologies and Documentation that are used to migrate business applications and data between systems of various architectures.

In the world of programming there are many ways to solve a problem. This documentation and software were developed and tested on systems that are configured for a SIMOTIME environment based on the hardware, operating systems, user requirements and security requirements. Therefore, adjustments may be needed to execute the jobs and programs when transferred to a system of a different architecture or configuration.
